Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2012

With a unique vision and point of view about vogue, the French designer Jean Paul Gaultier brings out one of the most unusual collections for the Spring/Summer 2012 season, that reinvents the  elegance, classiness and the old styles in a modern manner and put in value every personality through femininity and sophistication.

Dominated by a color palette of beige, black, white, navy or cobalt blue, sharp tailoring and classic silhouettes, Gaultier’s new collection offers  leather jackets, high waist fluid pants, white shirts, deconstructed suits, trench coats, colorful corsets, sailor pants, evening dresses, and men’s pinstripe blazers.

About the accessories there were heel-less shoes and booties, different bracelets, tattooed stockings and some piercing jewelry.

Fashion Tips: How To Wear A Leather Skirt. Style Lesson.

Pencil leather skirts emerged as a trend throughout spring 2009 New York collections. And not only skirts; slick jackets, dresses and even leather tops that placed this material in a sophisticated area, pushing it forward from the fetishistic/stereotype category.

Leather skirt is an extremely fashionable thing of this winter 2012. How to wear leather skirt to look stylish and fashionable?

Not everyone can wear a leather skirt. Here's a fashion advice for you: a leather skirt looks best on a slender, tall, curvy body. But if you want to wear one, you have to know how to do this.

This type of skirt comes in a few different styles. The basic style is a plain leather skirt that is pulled on from over your head. The other style has along zipper than zips up the front of the garment. This leather skirt is rather risqué looking because the zipper can be stopped anywhere in its track. That means, you can leave an opening in the front of this skirt as long or as short as you want it to be.
If you're looking for the ultimate in sexy, follow this advice: there are also styles of leather skirts that are known as  "Breakaways". These garments have several snaps up the front. These snaps (yes, you guessed it!) - hold the skirt together in the front.

Here's another fashion advice for you: the mini lengths look nice when they are worn with a tight sweater. The leather skirt accents the lower curves of the female body, while a sweater can show off the upper curves.

Usually, a leather skirt is more for casual wear. But, a skirt that hangs just below your knee can look professional and appropriate at the office; as long as it's not skin tight. It can actually be worn to the office, as long as you wear an appropriate sweater or other top with it. In the colder weather, a pair of leather boots would bring the entire outfit together. Boots would make the leather skirt look like the two go together.

Another accessory that would make this type of skirt look more suitable for work would be a pair of tan or sheer colored panty hose. Black hose should only be worn if you're going for a sexy look.

Here's an advice for you: never wear a short leather skirt to work, even if it's loose. Unless your occupation allows it, of course. The same rule applies to leather pants.

If you're in the market for a leather skirt, they usually can be found in a brown or black color. Most leathers can only be dry cleaned, so keep in mind that you'll have to have it cleaned by a professional as opposed to just tossing it into your washing machine.

Keep in mind too, when you go shopping for a leather skirt, that leather garments tend to run small. Therefore, if you normally wear a size six, you'll need to look for a size eight skirt.

New York Fashion Week. Fashion Tendency 2011

Another New York Fashion Week has come and gone!.. While shopping for Autumn clothes is still many months away, there is lots to look forward to once you hit the mall come August (despite what we originally expected or feared). Next season will be far from drab, there will be lots of bright and neon colors. And the little red dress you rocked on Valentine’s Day appears to have some staying power, so hang onto it! Oh and if you’re sick of the horizontal stripe, dont worry; Marc Jacobs was all about the polka dots, so you may have a new simple pattern to hate next year.

With some designers looking to the post-war 1940s for inspiration and others drawing from the grunge era of the ’90s, next season fashion is going to be varied, fun and exciting. And we can’t wait! Here’s a look at the biggest trends from season 2011 NYFW!

Ruches and Frills Season.

Femininity enjoys wide popularity this season. Ruches and frills are very fashionable this spring and summer 2009. Such designers as Alberta Ferretti, Marc Jacobs, Emanuel Ungaro and Moschino shows us their light dresses with frills and ruches.

The girls in gorgeous silk taffetta dresses with a ruffle that went behind their heads to a crescendo on one shoulder. Some had a bow at the base of the back in true Ungaro style.

Black and white waistcoats, wide double leather belts and sloppy T-shirts over taffeta minis gave this a morning-after, rock chick cool, while flame bright prints on kaftan robes caught low on the hips gave Seventies glamour a South American twist.

Fashion Lessons. 5 The Most Frequent Fashion Mistakes

>
There are a lot of fashion mistakes that women make and here are the most frequent 5 of them. Many women make these mistakes as they try too much hard and want to make sure they are wearing the latest fashion trends regardless of whether they suit them or not. As a matter of fact, anyone can present a stylish fashionable look. There are styles and fashions out there to suit everyone. Here are those mistakes:

1. Your clothes don't fit correctly.
Wearing loose clothes will add weight to anyone. Clothes that are too small accentuate bulges and will make you look comical. Never buy anything thinking that it will be "just right" if you lose weight. Buy for the present and in relation to your clothes size today.

2. Wearing wrinkled clothes.

3. Fashion trends that don't suit you.
Don't try to follow trends that don't suit you. Don't forget about your age and figure and only wear what looks good on you.
There is nothing worse than seeing someone follow fashion for the sake of it. Face reality, if short skirts are in and you haven't got the legs for it then don't do it!
There are plenty of fashionable looks out there and all you need to do is to find the ones that are best for you.

4. Showing bra & panty lines.
Wear proper fitting underclothes under your clothing. If they do fit you correctly and you can still see lines, then your clothing is too tight. If you are dress size is 15 except it and don't try and squeeze into a 12.

5. Wearing skirts that are to short.
Avoid this mistake at any cost! Keep your bra straps properly adjusted so they're not hanging out. If your jeans and trousers are low-rise, your panties should be too. Don't wear a skirt or dress that is too short. Make sure you can sit, walk and dance without exposing underclothes. There's a huge difference between looking sexy and tacky!
